Alma Extrema will primarily focus on digital video, but will include a variety of formats including:

www.almaextrema.com - Alma Extrema provides online viewers fresh daily content, engaging monthly adventures and in-depth features on athletes and events.
In app access to content: Alma Extrema will feature the content in the Univision deportes app on iOS and Android.
Integrations and segments on TV: Features and adventures from Alma Extrema will be potentially integrated in to existing Univision broadcast and cable shows.

Job Description

Univision, the leading Hispanic media company, is hiring a New York City-based Online General Editor for a new action, adventure and lifestyle sports brand called Alma Extrema.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, organized media pro who’s totally obsessed with action and adventure sports, the lifestyle that goes along with them, music, pop culture, memes, gifs, and just about anything on the internet that’s trending.

You’ll be responsible for the daily content publishing of Alma Extrema, including but not limited to writing catchy headlines, video description text, photo captions, scripts for original programming, and generally working to make Alma Extrema the top online destination for action, adventure and lifestyle sports video content.

Responsibilities

Work with Senior Editor to help define and maintain a distinct Alma Extrema voice and feel.
Write compelling SEO optimized titles and descriptions.
Interpret and respond to analytics.
Tracking of relevant comedy/music/sports/lifestyle feeds, websites, tastemakers, and social media sites.
Create editorial packages to meet advertising/partnership needs.
Organize and manage photography and illustrations.
Creating content from the available Red Bull Media library, other contributing partners and original productions.
Working closely with La Fabrica’s video production and shared studio operations.
