Palliative care helps people of all ages with any serious or chronic illness live better. The Partnership for Palliative Care is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes and focuses on palliative care service expansion, research, advocacy, and public education. We are seeking an intern to support the growth and development of the Partnershipʼs advocacy efforts.

Job Description

Raise Awareness as a Paid Research Intern!
Do you want to be part of a growing organization that works to improve the culture of care for those impacted by illness? Do you have an interest in helping move the needle on an issue online? If yes, we may have the perfect opportunity for you! The Partnership for Palliative Care is looking for a summer research intern to join our team.

The Role
Responsibilities include: monitoring conversations online and in the press about our core issues; identifying and helping us build relationships with key influencers and partners; bringing together diverse sets of research to serve our advocacy efforts; and assisting with fundraising, development and administrative tasks

Qualifications
–An attention to detail and ability to summarize complex information and sources
–Good writing and organization skills
-An interest in working in the non-profit sector
–Flexibility to work in our midtown Manhattan office, as well as remotely

A plus:
–A passion for public health and healthcare issues
–Outreach or online organizing skills
–Development or Fundraising experience
–Experience with academic or medical research

Internships are for approximately 2-3 days a week through the end of the Summer in our midtown Manhattan office. We are able to pay a minimum wage stipend.
