The content is personality driven and features insightful, well crafted profiles on writers, directors, actors and producers. The magazine is part art book, part literary journal with a strong emphasis on photography, illustrations and story. The Deal seeks editorial interns for immediate help on a high profile reporting project. You will have the opportunity to support our corporate dealmaker team as we conduct detailed research on top public and private companies. This is a great opportunity to hone your reporting & research skills as you work alongside experienced editors & reporters in The Deal newsroom. Through the internship, you will also make invaluable contacts at top tier S&P 500 companies.
Qualified candidates will possess sharp analytic skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy and an innate ability to work independently. Experience with Internet research, database entry and reporting a plus.
This editorial internship begins the first week of March and requires 10-20 hours a week. The project will conclude in early June. Some research can be conducted off-site but interns are required to work the majority of time at The Deal offices.
