BizBash is looking for editorial interns for our midtown Manhattan office anytime from January through June. Interns will assist with producing our Web site and magazine for event professionals, performing a mix of responsibilities, including research, factchecking, reporting, writing, proofreading, updating online directories, and clerical work. The position is unpaid, but working for college credit is encouraged.

Us Weekly is currently looking for well-qualified individuals to intern in the editorial department of the magazine's New York headquarters. Interns must be highly-motivated, organized, upbeat and responsible individuals with an interest in celebrity news and pop culture.
Interns are expected to work a minimum of two full days from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. (but should understand that longer hours are sometimes required as we work to meet deadlines to close the issue.)

Responsibilities:
Assist in the production of editorial content for Clear Channel Radio's network of over 850 radio station web sites. This includes writing and publishing original articles, editing and publishing wire copy and headlines, assisting in the creation of editorial packages around breaking news, exclusive content and planned events, research and prep for artist and celebrity interviews and occasional assistance on celebrity and artist interviews, photo shoots and live music events. Additionally the intern will be responsible for weekly music updates and will also have the opportunity to assist the photo department in creating and captioning photo galleries.
Intern must possess solid news judgment and the ability to identify buzzworthy news stories with a particular interest in celebrities, entertainment, music, radio and pop culture.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of and experience using social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Web publishing tools a MUST
Basic HTML knowledge is preferred but not required
