Huffington Post Intern

The Huffington Post is looking for a research intern to join the team of a HuffPost executive. We’re a tightly knit and fast moving team.

The ideal candidate will be:
- An organized and efficient researcher, able to distill large quantities of information into easily digestible nuggets. A large part of your responsibility will be preparing briefings and doing research on current events.
- Organized. We rely on our interns for help keeping everything filed and organized.
- Up-to-date and interested in current events. A lot of our events concern the news of the day.
- Outgoing. You’ll be asked to greet and interact with multiple people.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and flexible. Each day here is different – sometimes you’ll sit and quietly research, sometimes you’ll be asked to take on a lot more.

For the right candidate, there's also room for advancement. We're a growing company with lots of room for rising stars. While by no means guaranteed, some past interns have found full-time jobs in the company.

20 hours / week preferred.

Woman's Day Editorial Internship

We are looking for spring editorial interns to assist in our articles department. Candidates should be self-starters, highly organized, independent, able to multitask and interested in the magazine industry. Excellent writing and research skills are a must. The candidate also must be able to receive college credit, and would work at least two days a week and start ideally in January.

Editorial Interns

BizBash is looking for editorial interns for our midtown Manhattan office anytime from January through June. Editorial Intern

Us Weekly is currently looking for well-qualified individuals to intern in the editorial department of the magazine's New York headquarters. Interns must be highly-motivated, organized, upbeat and responsible individuals with an interest in celebrity news and pop culture.

Interns are expected to work a minimum of two full days from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. (but should understand that longer hours are sometimes required as we work to meet deadlines to close the issue.)

Some duties that will be expected of interns include: conducting phone interviews, transcribing taped interviews, conducting man-on-the street polls, researching, covering red carpet events and press junkets/conferences on behalf of the magazine, taking notes on celebrity TV appearances, and some routine office duties.

Internship is unpaid, and school credit is required.

Men's Fitness, Muscle and Fitness, and Flex magazines are looking for upbeat, hard-working, ambitious editorial interns for the fall and spring semesters. This is not your standard filing and coffee-grabbing internship. Our interns become an integral part of our staff. You'll write and pitch stories, do interviews and research-everything full-time editors do. And when you leave the magazine, you'll have bylines and a wealth of experience to take to your first full-time job.

Applicants must be available to work at least two a week in our editorial offices (near Wall Street). Positions are unpaid and do require some more traditional intern duties as well, including transcribing interviews and research.
