WQXR is seeking a Director of Digital Content to lead efforts that build the foundation for long-term growth of WQXR as the leading multi-platform digital content provider for classical music content. Incumbent will create a framework to manage the highest level of content distributed through WQXR’s website, fully integrate WQXR brand and content across all digital platforms, including station/show websites, new broadband content, podcasting, satellite radio, internet radio, HD radio, and mobile casting. Radiolab seeks a communications and production manager to join a tremendously creative staff that serves a passionate, diverse audience and produces an unparalleled product.

Reporting to the senior producer of Radiolab, the communications and production manager will be a vital part of the Radiolab management team. The communications and production manger must have an ability to keep many balls in the air at once, and balance a complex workload. An ability to communicate with a range of audiences (listeners, stations, press, funders, new audiences, etc.) in a manner that is not only clear but conveys creativity and passion for Radiolab which ignites interest is essential. Attention to detail and thoroughness is a must, as this position will play an essential role in the technical distribution of the content. This position also plays a critical role in the editorial process, leading the front-end research, acting as a content ambassador and liaison with science advisors and contributors, and performing final fact checking editorial functions.
