Euromentravel is looking for freelance contributors (writers, photographers) with a noticeable affection for Europe. If you are looking to contribute to a growing publication that seeks to combine classic men's interest like style, tech and traveling then we are looking forward to hearing from you.

Our readership is 78% male, over-averagely qualified and has a high affinity to traveling and intercultural affairs.

We do encourage submissions by first time writers looking to publish their first piece.

Writer

The Writer will produce written materials for AGBU internal and external audiences, including but not limited to AGBU magazines and all supporting marketing materials, websites, press releases, blogs, reports, letters and other written material as necessary. The focus is on informing members and the general public about AGBU’s diverse activities, and promoting the organization globally and locally.
The Writer will collaborate and coordinate with all departments and program officers, as well as with offices globally, as needed. Excellent written communication skills, as well as strong oral communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities:
 Research and write articles to support the publication of AGBU News Magazine, The Insider Magazine and other publications and reports.
 Proactively develop story ideas based on daily discussions with program officers and central office staff and global districts and chapters.
 Actively liaise with AGBU global entities to create current editorial content.
 Assist, support and implement the AGBU communication plan and the AGBU voice.
 Attend events and functions as needed.
 Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, WordPress, Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
 Excellent written and oral communication skills
 Excellent proofreading and copyediting skills
 Ability to take initiative and leadership to manage multiple projects under deadlines
 Ability to work autonomously as well as in teams with diverse cultures and personalities
 Strong follow-through skills to ensure timeliness and accuracy of published information
 Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during special events
Requirements:
 Bachelor Degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field
 3-5 years writing and related experience
 Knowledge of Armenian language desired
 United States Citizenship or residency required

LifePosts is looking for contributors to join our small team of journalists working on an exciting new media project, Amazing Lives.

The publication uses the LifePosts platform of state-of-the-art storytelling tools to capture and share insightful and inspiring stories of life, love and loss. Contributors will work under the tutelage of entrepreneurs/journalists Steven Waldman, Ju-Don Marshall Roberts and Ned Berke.

- Surface and curate media from traditional, digital and social platforms and turn them into an original narrative
- Learn how to conceive, research and develop story pitches

Requirements:

- Must be able to dedicate at least 10 hours each week to be in our headquarters
- Top-notch research skills, and a nose for ferreting out fascinating and gripping details from hard-to-find sources
- Familiarity with WordPress, and willingness to learn new content management systems

Contributing Reporter

The job is a great way to get a foot in the door at a fast-paced, rapidly expanding news organization that is the go-to news source for the city’s top real estate, finance and investment professionals. The position requires working 80 hours per month, primarily in the first two weeks of the month. It involves writing and reporting for the magazine’s regular monthly sections, including the Q&A and national market report. There will also be opportunities to contribute originally reported stories for the magazine and website as well as to freelance longer pieces outside of business hours.
