Contributing Financial Writer

We are looking for a part-time writer for Spring 2022 with interest in finance/investing.

The primary responsibilities include assisting our current media users as needed (our user base is concentrated at the Tier 1 financial publications), writing public content on an ongoing basis (for example, earnings season themes for our blog), more targeted content (ie sector benchmarking reports), ESG topic research and write-ups, IPOs, SPACs, earnings trends white papers, creation of data visualizations for social media, videos, webinars, and similar tasks centered around high quality content, targeted at the investment management industry. The details are pretty open.

Part-Time Entertainment Writer

SHE Media is hiring a remote part-time Entertainment Writer to join STYLECASTER’s editorial team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about a wide range of entertainment content, including TV, movies, music and celebrity news. The Entertainment Writer should be traffic-minded and have excellent news judgment, the ability to write clean and fast copy, and knowledge of SEO best practices. The Entertainment Writer will report to the Entertainment Editor and Senior Entertainment Editor and is expected to pitch and write 4 to 5 articles per shift during the week, and will be expected to eventually self-publish over the weekend.

The Fine Print:

- Ability to commit to a set schedule of five shifts per week for a total of 28 hours, including self-publishing shifts on Saturday and/or Sunday.
- A clean, fast writer who can complete 4-5 stories each day (typically 350-600 words).
- A passion for entertainment and pop culture, covering everything from celebrity relationships and the British royal family, to streaming guides and new music releases.
- Well-versed in digital strategy, analytics, SEO, and service and evergreen angles.
- E-commerce experience is a plus.

Contributing Writer

TheRighting is looking for permanent freelance writers to contribute three-to-four 700-word articles a month. Beginning early in 2022, TheRighting is increasing its original content to cover all forms of conservative media (television, podcasts, book publishing, social media and more) to shed more light on this vastly under-reported area. Interested candidates should have some demonstrated journalism experience and an interest in politics and media. Knowledge of conservative media a plus.

Content Writer

We’re looking for a freelance content writer to help us communicate with our customers and grow our audience.

Experience

- Storytelling. You have a portfolio that highlights your content and voice, bonus points for technical focused writing.
- Editor. You have an eye for editing with a preference for simple and direct language.

Writer (Freelance / Full-time)

We pay $7.50 per slide ($125 to $400 for a full slide show) and 15 cents a word for articles, as well as an hourly rate for certain related tasks.
