Founded in 1943, France-Amérique is published by France-Amérique LLC, a private company headquartered in New York and owned by Mr. Guy Sorman.
With a monthly circulation of 40 ,000 copies and more than 200,000 readers per issue, France-Amérique is the only bilingual French-English publication in the United States. As we are rapidly growing, France-Amérique is looking to recruit Journalist/Contributor to join our Team.

Duties:

Generating ideas for stories. Researches. Writing and editing news stories. Sourcing images to accompany written pieces; Ensuring work is well written, accurate and submitted to deadline.
Conducting interviews, either in person or remotely; Attending seminars and conferences.
Regular meetings with the team to plan the content and the character of the issue;
Keeping up to date with French-Americans news and trends;
Performs other duties as necessary or as requested by the editor in chief or the owner of the publication.

Qualifications:

At least two years experience as a journalist.
Excellent command of French and English.
Be a self-directed individual with the proven ability to take initiative as a problem solver.
Be capable of multi-tasking. Dynamism and positive attitude.
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism;
Must be authorized to work in the US without any restriction . France-Amerique does not sponsor any type of visa for this post.

Foundation Endowment Intelligence is seeking a reporter to cover the investment activity of institutional investors. The reporter will be responsible for producing two stories per day for the website, as well as two front-page-quality stories a month for the print edition. Strong emphasis will be placed on consistently producing high-quality analytical, trend- or data-driven front-page articles.

Topics to be covered range from investment mandates to people moves and investment strategies. The reporter will be expected not just to report available mandates, but to also dig deeper into what is driving them and what is likely to drive them in the future.

The position requires strong source-development skills and the ability to provide consistent breaking news, as well as enterprise stories relevant to our readers. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong willingness to work the phones and go on regular face-to-face meetings to develop strong relationships with industry professionals. A finance background is not required.

A quarterly bonus structure is offered.

 

Online Editor/Social Media Strategist

The National Herald/Ethnikos Kirix seeks an online editor for its English digital edition and the newspaper’s social media initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in journalism, website management, social media marketing and a strong command of the English language. Fluency in Greek is strongly preferred.
Duties will include regular updating of the website with news from various categories as well as expanding the newspaper's reach via Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets.
The ability to work and edit in a fast-paced environment is important.

Journalist

Qualifications:

The position is paid. Salary commensurate with experience. Salary Range $1500 - $4000. All travel expenses and accommodations are covered during the 4 months.

Social Media Editor

Social Media Editor
Entrepreneur’s Social Media Editor is responsible for implementing our social media strategy by coordinating with the editorial and marketing teams to increase engagement and site traffic with our large and active social audience.

Each day, you’ll be at the helm of our social media dashboard monitoring discussions and promoting our editorial content across all channels. You will identify trending topics and coordinate social and web content to keep Entrepreneur abreast of online conversations.

You’ll help grow our network of entrepreneurial enthusiasts, advocates for the brand and reader base by engaging in one-to-one dialog and helping answer questions and comments.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
1+ years working as a journalist or a social media copy editor. Experience with an online publisher or media company is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in building and growing a social presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest. Other platforms such as Google+, Tumblr, Snapchat among others are a plus.
Strong writer with good editorial judgment. Ability to develop a distinct and personal voice on behalf of Entrepreneur.
Adept at identifying and crafting engaging content by ‘listening’ to social media comments and be able to effectively interact and engage on behalf of the brand.
Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms including but not limited to Facebook Insights, HootSuite, etc.
