Paid, Non-Credit Media Related Internship -- Editorial/Content Specialist

As an Editorial/Content Specialist Intern, you will join a dynamic 30-person startup streamlining the painful and stressful process of renovating. You will collaborate with our editor, account management team, general contractors, and homeowners to create engaging content that resonates with our audience, learn and implement search engine optimization, partner with our social media manager and PR team, and understand the dynamics of remote team collaboration. This role is perfect for someone who is excited to share their passion for renovation and home design and tell stories through compelling, user-friendly copy and design.

Position Type: The internship is 20 hours per week, but potentially up to 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Length/Duration: The spring semester, but has potential to last longer

Responsibilities:

- Handle inbound public relation inquiries professionally and quickly
- Coordinate end-to-end content production on Sweeten’s blog
- Source and organize content from experts, homeowners, and general contractors
- Develop interesting new content using Sweeten resources and imagery
- Learn and implement our brand style and voice
- Work with Sweeten’s photo archive for media and blog content
- Organize and manage blog archive
- Conduct user research to uncover actionable insights for improving content
- Monitor and report on content performance
- Report directly to our Blog Editor and support Content Manager to help develop best practices for future success and growth

Communications Intern (Remote)

The National Committee on U.S.-China Relations is looking for full- and part-time interns. The internship offers an exciting opportunity for current students and recent graduates to join a communications and public relations team supporting initiatives focused on U.S.-China relations, while working directly on programs that enhance and inform that evolving relationship. The internship is unpaid, but working from home costs are reimbursed.

Responsibilities include:

-Work directly with the NCUSCR communications team to produce events-related communications, including creating event graphics, digital invitations, and social media notices

Social Media Intern

- Commit to growth of our social media networks. Implement plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Create and curate engaging content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs and products, under the guidance of the CEO and Creative Director
- Post on the Statement Films Social Media Channels daily according to the calendar, while maintaining the Statement Films aesthetic on all channels
- Assist in communicating and building relationships with brands, platforms, and prospective partners
- Build and update media lists and databases
- Fully support company’s media outreach strategy and execute it in different phases

About Our Summer Intern Program
Our internships are paid.
You don’t have to be a college student/have to have attended college to apply.
